from the head chair
Honorable secretariat members and fellow delegates.
My name is Elsa Pham, and I am a Junior from American International School (AmIS). It is my utmost pleasure to be serving you as the Head Chair for General Assembly 1 for this year ISPPMUN.
Delegates, it is okay to be shy and feel underprepared during the conference, especially when this is your very first attempt. but don't worry so much, because as your Head Chair, I would do my best to assist every one of you so that these three days of ISPPMUN is the best MUN experiences you ever had!
Anyway, I just want to say that I am looking forward to meeting you all. Let's have a fun and fruitful debate together!
from the deputy chair
Hello fellow delegates!
My name is Hyunwoo You, and I’m currently in 10th grade at ISPP. It is my utmost pleasure to serve as deputy chair in GA1.
This is my first year of chairing in MUN conference, and I look forward to helping out any delegates who need assistance. Especially if you are new to MUN, I wish you could achieve skills, learn new things, and most importantly, have fun.
My first MUN experience was back in 8th grade, and I clearly remember that I enjoyed it ever since. I can empathize with all delegates as I was once a delegate myself, and just to let you know, don’t hesitate to ask questions or call out for assistance.
The motto for this year’s ISPPMUN conference is “giving youth a voice”. And I hope this becomes a great opportunity for you to speak out and have one step further towards being a great speaker.
